Snap-On Baseboard System

Made Rite™ introduces Snap-on Baseboards™ the patented snap-on baseboard system. This two part system creates a covered channel behind the outer baseboard profile that clips to the wall-attached inner profile. The baseboard can be removed and replaced at will for wall inspection, or access and updates to a variety of electrical and data cables. Snap-on Baseboards™ is easy to install and convenient anywhere modular access is common or necessary; termite inspection, office cubicles, mobile homes, new wiring or security installations, to name a few. Once purchased this system will provide a lifetime of use and benefits that no other baseboard offers.

  Painting
Painting of millwork profiles is not required for varying periods of time, depending on exposure
to ultraviolet rays and pollution. Should painting
be desired, follow these instructions:
Clean surface to be painted.
For a good one-step process, paint surface with
acrylic exterior latex paint.
For latex paint, use a latex or acrylic primer before applying the finish coat.
     
Joining or fastening
Recommended screws: Drywall screws with large thread or flute.
Recommended adhesive: Sub-floor adhesive or
PVC cement.
Holes can be filled with colored caulk or putty.
To raise dents or marks on the profiles,
use a hair dryer.
  Oil Base Paints
Lightly sand surface.
Paint surface with fast-drying alkyd primer.
Allow to dry.
Apply finish coat.
